Cambridge Who's Who Names Michael Lloyd Professional of the Year in Automotive Insurance
Mr. Lloyd has dedicated more than 35 years to his profession
SURPRISE, AZ, January 10, 2012 /Automotive PR News/ -- Michael Lloyd, Material Damage Manager and AVP for California Casualty, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Automotive Insurance. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.
With 35 years of professional experience overall, Mr. Lloyd has served proudly for the past 13 years as a material damage manager and AVP for California Casualty, an automotive and home insurance company. As an expert in auto body claims, Mr. Lloyd handles claims for all automotive physical damages.
Mr. Lloyd, who holds an ASE Masters Certification in Auto Body and Paint, currently serves as chairman of CIECA, the Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association. He became involved in his profession because he grew up in the auto repair industry and evolved into insurance, and attributes his success to the great mentors in his life. He received an Outstanding Leadership Award this year from CIECA.
California Casualty made a lasting impact on the insurance industry in 1951 by partnering with the California Teachers Association. This partnership, which is still in operation today, constituted the first "affinity insurance program," and it served as a model for many others in the industry. California Casualty now offers affinity insurance programs nationwide, providing auto and home insurance services to the members of more than 100 organizations, from universities and medical centers to police, state trooper and firefighter associations.
