From NYC to Guadalajara: a Sustainable Revolution

In Guadalajara, the Paseo De Todos-the local Critical Mass chapter-"regularly churns out up to 5,000 riders to celebrate and demand safer cycling conditions" according to the Street Films website.
In Miami, the Urban Times reports an upsurge in "permaculture classes, urban farming, green hotel renovations, vegan restaurants, more and more bike lanes".
Grist reports on the rapid increase in urban farming in New York City, that global symbol of un-countrified urban life, citing three different farmers: "Annie Novak from Eagle Street Rooftop Farm in Greenpoint, Abu Talib from Taqwa Community Farm in the Bronx, and Jack Algiere from the Stone Barns Center."
