Sanderson Volvo of Phoenix is proud to be a sponsor of Wild West Days, the largest western venue in the State of Arizona.
PHOENIX, AZ, October 13, 2011 /Automotive PR News/ -- This November, Sanderson Volvo is sponsoring Wild West Days, a four-day western venue in Cave Creek, Arizona. The event, which is Arizona's largest western venue, will be held November 3-6, 2011 and will feature non-stop family entertainment, including musical performances, a golf tournament, period costume competitions, bathtub races, and two days of gunfight competitions. Throughout the month of October, Sanderson Volvo will be running a Wild West Days Sale.
Wild West Days kicks off with a golf tournament at Rancho Manana Golf Club on Thursday, November 3. All day and evening on November 5 and 6, Six Gun Entertainment will lead Gun Down by Sundown, award-winning gunfight performances by gunfighting groups from around the country.
The Western parade will take place Saturday morning. During the parade, hundreds of firefighters, police officers, and service men and women will walk in silence on horseback and on foot to pay tribute to colleagues who have fallen in the line of duty during the Walk for 100. Also on Saturday, homemade bathtubs will race through the streets during the bathtub races, the Thieves Market will showcase western goods and attire, and a pig race will take place. Other events at Wild West Days include country music, firefighter's chili challenge, live bull-riding competitions, wildlife exhibits, a cowboy jail, horse events, and western art.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Luv Shack Horse Rescue, the 100 Club of Arizona, the national Rett Syndrome Foundation, and the Desert Foothills Community Association.
