Local Schools Benefit from Cumberland Chrysler Center's "Drive for the Kids" Event
The Cumberland Chrysler Center is hosting its "Drive for the Kids" event throughout the Cookeville area with all proceeds going to local schools.
COOKEVILLE, TN, September 17, 2011 /Automotive PR News/ -- The Cumberland Chrysler is pleased to announce the latest details on their 2011 "Drive for the Kids" event. A short time ago the Cookeville based Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, RAM dealer was at Capshaw Elementary with a few vehicles from their lot. Participants were invited to test drive the different cars for as little as a $10 donation.
The goal of the event at Capshaw Elementary was 100 test drives, or $1,000 but thanks to a great community of participants Cumberland Chrysler was able to provide 210 test drives or $2,100 to the students of Capshaw Elementary.
The next event will be taking place this Friday, September 16, 2011, at Algood Elementary. Anyone interested in participating in the event should show up at the school between 10 am and 1 pm and will be given the opportunity to test drive different Chrysler models including the popular Chrysler 200.
