Pocatello Nissan/Kia Is One of Two Dealerships in Idaho Selected for Commercial Vehicle Rollout
Nissan North America announced that Pocatello Nissan has qualified for inclusion into the commercial Nissan dealer network.
POCATELLO, ID, July 13, 2011 /Automotive PR News/ -- Nissan North America announced that Pocatello Nissan has qualified for inclusion into the commercial Nissan dealer network. This select group of national dealers will have the exclusive rights to inventory, market and sell the all-new Nissan commercial van series. Although Nissan has been in the commercial vehicle business internationally for 75 years, the new lineup marks Nissan's first entry into the North American market. About 25% of North American Nissan dealers were selected to participate.

Paul Stevens, owner of Pocatello Nissan Kia is pleased with the outcome, "There are a lot of excellent Nissan dealers in North America and we are very proud to have been selected to participate in this exciting expansion. Input from current commercial van owners allowed Nissan North America to develop a vehicle that addresses the real-world needs of van owners. "The new commercial van is one of the most researched vehicles in the history of Nissan" according to Joe Castelli, vice-president, commercial Vehicles and Fleet, for Nissan North America. "We've invested more than five years researching the comfort, style, and smart functionality demands that will enable business owners to accomplish more throughout their day." Nissan preliminary research also revealed that commercial van drivers are some of the least satisfied vehicle owners on the road today.
Garth Hall, Pocatello Nissan commercial vehicle manager put the new rollout into a local perspective, "Pocatello Nissan Kia is committed to providing our southeast Idaho commercial customers with low ownership costs and best-in-class performance. This van will work wonders for construction companies, electricians, cable and satellite installers, plumbers, HVAC technicians and for anyone else that needs the service of a versatile, well-designed vehicle."
Paul Stevens assumed ownership of the Pocatello Nissan dealership in December of 2010 and plans to continue the fine Nissan tradition started in Pocatello by Park Price Motors in 1972. Stevens said, "We look forward to continuing a long legacy of quality, and service that southeast Idaho has come to expect and appreciate."
