SGS India hosts International Automotive Symposium and inaugurates CTS Auto Lab
SGS India hosted an International Automotive Symposium at Courtyard Marriott and inaugurated the new CTS Auto Lab in Pune in February 2011.
HARYANA, INDIA, June 23, 2011 /Automotive PR News/ -- On February 11, 2011, SGS India hosted an International Automotive Symposium 2011 at Courtyard Marriott in Pune, India.
The symposium was attended by senior management representatives of SGS and around 70 delegates from major OEMs, tiers 1 and 2 suppliers, associations and related professionals from the automotive industry. The aim of the symposium was to offer an occasion for automotive professionals to come together and discuss currents trends and the challenges they face in the industry.
Dignitaries from OEMs like Volkswagen, Nissan and the global automotive suppliers International Automotive Components (IAC) presented a variety of technical papers. In addition, speakers from SGS Germany presented a special paper on their recently launched Homologation Services (http://www.sgs-cqe.de/en/homologation-service.html).
The day was also marked as the official inauguration of the CTS Auto Lab at Chakan, Pune. Clients and delegates were invited for a quick tour of the lab during the afternoon session of the symposium.
